Dubbed as the "Cubi-Sub-station Project", the project entailed successfully transporting a 25MVA Transformer,including its parts and accessories within three days from the Maritan sub-station and to its final destination inside Subic Bay Freeport Zone.

As David narrated, the project involved many steps and processes along the way. Initially, oil from the transformer was drained then transferred into the special drums and finally loaded into an Isotank provided by Aboitiz Logistics. A telescopic crane was then used for loading and unloading of the other parts and accessories of the transformer. Manual jacking and skidding was used to move the main unit from its resting place until it reached the designated loading area.

After's a day work, the hardworking team immidiately organized the loading of the transformers onto lowbed trailers. The drive up to Cubi sub-station was a breeze and worry-free as they were escorted by the Subic Bay Management Authority (SBMA) personnel, as well as representatives of Subic enerzone.

By the end of day 2 of the project, jacking, unloading and skidding was finally completed. They finished one day ahead of deadline. This comes as no surprise as APTSC ia well known in the industry for their expertise in project management and planning. Subic Enerzonewas very pleased and now anticipates more projects with APTSC in 2006.
